Welcome!

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am a freshman student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and throughout the next several months, I will be using this blog to communicate a nuanced perspective on a variety of scientific articles that delve into anything from manipulating science for advertising purposes to the emotional underlining of controversial scientific debate such as animal testing. Assuming that you (the person reading this) are my English professor or a fellow Georgia Tech student, I hope that you will find these posts to be unique and thought provoking analyses. If you are not among this group of people and just happened to stumble upon my page, I extend the warmest of welcomes to you as well, and hopefully you’ll find these posts to be fairly entertaining. This website has one page dedicated solely to blogging on topics similar to those discussed above. In addition, there are several pages dedicated to a few major projects that will be conducted throughout the semester. These projects remain within the common theme of analyzing science, but they have an added complexity of making these analyses/ presentations multi-modal using the WOVEN techniques of communication. WOVEN stands for Written, Oral, Visual Electronic, and Nonverbal. To maximize the number of modes used in the communication of these projects, a majority of the projects will be communicated with a video element. That’s it folks. Please enjoy yourselves as you peruse this website and once again, welcome!
